Golden Blanket

I watched you cry
Bathed in sunlight

By the bathroom door
You said you wished you did not love me anymore

You left your flowers in the backseat of my car
The things we said and did have left permanent scars
Obsessed depressed at the same time
I can't even walk in a straight line
I've been lying in the dark no sunshine
No sunshine

She cries This is more than goodbye
When I look into your eyes
You're not even there
It's just a feeling
Just a feeling
Just a feeling that I have

I can't believe that it's over
You've hit your low
You've lost control and you want me back
You may not believe me but I gave you all I have
Undress confess that you're still mine
I roll around in a bed full of tears

I'm still lying in the dark no sunshine

No Sunshine

Nothing Lasts Forever

There are times when many of us would like to cover our heads with a cardboard box and shield ourselves from the outside world. Other times, we walk around feeling as if we’re enclosed in such packaging anyway — like faceless, boxed-up products on an assembly line. Yet whichever our experience, alienated or anonymous, one plain fact gives us hope: We’re all human. And we’re not alone.

In Flakes _ Towada Art Centre _ Japan

Towada city has snowflakes floating around in winter, cherry blossoms floating around in spring, sunlight sifting down through the trees in summer, leaves floating around autumn, and artworks spreading over the city. There is always something floating around through the city’s clear air.
- Mount Fuji Architects Studio

Made of folded stainless steel elements overlapping one another to form benches at the Towada Art Center, the benches are polished so to reflect whatever that hovers above them. In flakes.

Hazey Daze

Happiness, it hurt like a train on a track
Coming towards her, stuck still no turning back
She hid around corners and she hid under beds
She killed it with kisses and from it she fled
With every bubble she sank with a drink
And washed it away down the kitchen sink

The Star Ferry _ Hong Kong

The Star Ferry traces its origins to 1880 when Dorabjee Naorojee Mithaiwala, a Parsee cook, embarked on a new vocation. He began a ferry service across Victoria Harbour with his steamboat, the Morning Star.

The most relaxing way to go from side to side.

The Waterhouse _ Shanghai

The four story, 19 bedroom boutique hotel The Waterhouse was built into an existing 1930's Japanese army headquarters.  Facing the Huangpu River and overlooking the Pudong skyline, the architectural concept was based on the contrast of old and new. While the outside of the building has been restored, some additions using Cor-teen steel are to reflect the old docking history of Huangpu River.

Blurring and inversion of exterior and interiors, public areas provide glimpses into private areas. Vertical room windows above the reception, corridor windows overlooking the dining rooms
